TBU presents NEXTGEN: students trained by IT experts and begin internships at BALFIN Group
Tirana Business University, in collaboration with the IT Department of BALFIN Group, has launched the NEXTGEN Academy, which will offer TBU students additional knowledge, focusing on practical aspects and allowing them to engage with real-world tasks. This will enable them to better understand the responsibilities faced by IT professionals in the daily operations of a business.
At the opening ceremony of the academy, representatives from the IT department of BALFIN Group, as well as representatives from TBU, were present.
Gjergji Spaho, the director of this department, told the students that this was an excellent opportunity for all participants, as they will emerge from this academy equipped with the necessary knowledge to be prepared for the challenges presented by both the local and global markets.
TBU’s administrator, Dr. Altin Sholla, emphasized the importance of this academy, noting that students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and confront real-life cases in a department that covers 10 different industries of BALFIN Group, a unique opportunity in the local market.
The academy will cover several areas within IT, such as IT Operations, Information Security, Business Applications, Business Analytics, and Software Development.
The program consists of 14 sections, each lasting 3-4 hours, including the presentation of projects and hands-on practice with real-world cases at BALFIN IT offices.
The three students who present the best projects at the end of the program will begin professional internships with the Information Technology Department of BALFIN Group.
