A different experience for the students of American British STEM Academy

On October 8, 2025, Tirana Business University, in cooperation with the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation, organized the innovative and interactive activity “The Savings Game.” The activity aimed to strengthen young people’s financial knowledge and encourage responsible behavior through play and sharing experiences.

The training was led by Irma Shkrepa, lecturer and trainer at German Sparkassenstiftung, and Samel Kruja, lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology at TBU.

During the game and interactive discussions, students gained knowledge on creating and maintaining a family budget, long-term budget planning, managing needs versus wants, assessing financial risks, choosing appropriate financial institutions, as well as the purpose and benefits of saving.

This activity demonstrates TBU’s commitment to providing practical, interactive learning with a real impact on young people’s lives.
