The second edition of the International Scientific Conference at Tirana Business University successfully concluded.

Today, Tirana Business University (TBU) successfully concluded the second edition of the International Scientific Conference “Technology & Business Update,” with the main theme: “AI & Business Environment: Transformations, Challenges & Ethics in the Digital Age,” an important academic event for the institution and the scientific community in Albania and beyond.

The conference became an important platform for dialogue on the role of artificial intelligence in transforming the business environment, addressing ethical, legal, and technological challenges, as well as in building new models of economic and institutional development.

The second edition of this scientific conference confirmed TBU’s clear orientation towards internationalization and collaboration with partner universities and international institutions. Participating and collaborating as partner universities were: Óbuda University (Hungary), University of Insurance and Finance (Bulgaria), “Isa Boletini” University Mitrovicë, POLIS University (Tirana), University of Shkodër “Luigj Gurakuqi,” and University of Durrës “Aleksandër Moisiu.”

The plenary session was held in the presence of senior academic leaders, who emphasized the need to increase scientific collaboration and promote interdisciplinary research, at a time when intelligent technologies are fundamentally changing the traditional structures of education and the economy. The keynote speakers at this conference were the Rector of Łukaszewski University (Poland) Dr. Eng. Bogusław Wijatyk, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics at “Isa Boletini” University, Prof. Dr Qazim Tmava.

During these panels, 41 scientific papers were presented by faculty, researchers, doctoral students, and professionals, bringing new research approaches and practical examples of the use of artificial intelligence in various sectors.

Today’s conference marked an important step in strengthening the research culture at TBU, creating a real space for the exchange of ideas, professional networking, and the creation of new academic and scientific collaborations.

Through this event, Tirana Business University once again demonstrated its role as an innovative institution, focused on the future, technology, and sustainable development.
