A STRONG SYNERGY IN INNOVATION: TIRANA BANK AND TBU FINISH THE SECOND EDITION OF STARTECH

After 6 weeks of practical training and mentorship, the second edition of the Startech Hub project successfully concluded. At the closing event, the three students with the best projects were awarded, gaining the opportunity for internships at Tirana Bank, aiming for future employment.

In their opening remarks, Deputy CEO of Tirana Bank, Olivier Baur, and Administrator of TBU, Dr. Altin Sholla, highlighted the importance of this program and the synergy between academia and industry. The project was implemented with close support from the HR Department of Tirana Bank, led by Bledjana Karafilaj, as well as trainers from other bank departments.

The program created a collaborative space between students, technology, and mentorship, turning ideas into concrete projects and strengthening students’ practical skills.

This edition of Startech Hub is a clear demonstration of TBU’s commitment to bridging academic knowledge with real professional opportunities, providing students with practical experience, direct mentorship, and pathways to successful careers in technology and finance.
