Being part of TBU means becoming a member of a large university family in a dynamic environment, with an active student life, where the care of our administration and pedagogical staff is special and personalized for each student, from the first day they step into our premises, but also after they leave the university benches. We have a direct communication bridge with the Human Resources of BALFIN Group, to address all the requests and needs of our students for internships and employment, but also for any other need.

ADMISSIONS FOR BACHELOR PROGRAMS

BACHELOR

In the first cycle of studies, students who have completed high school in the Republic of Albania must apply through the U Albania portal. The criterion for registration is the GPA according to theMinister of Education, Sports, and Youth (MoESY) decree. Candidates for students who have completed high school earlier must contact the secretariat of the high school they have completed to complete form A1z, which allows them to apply through the U Albania portal on the dates specified by MoESY. After applying on the portal, TBU schedules interview dates for U Albania portal applicants, and at the end of these interviews, the ranking with points for each candidate is published. If they are foreign nationals, applying through the U Albania portal is not necessary as they apply with a dossier on dates set by MoESY.

ADMISSIONS FOR MASTER PROGRAMS

PROFESSIONAL MASTER

In the Professional Master program, all candidates who have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree and want to pursue a Master's program can apply. Our professional Master's programs are tailored and well-designed for all professionals who want to give a new boost to their career development within a 1-year period.

MASTER OF SCIENCE

With our Master of Science programs, candidates deepen their knowledge further by increasing professional expertise or preparing the path to further doctoral studies. For the Master of Science program, candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in the same program or in a similar program to the Master's program they wish to pursue. Also, candidates for Master of Science programs must, along with the application documents, submit a Foreign Language Certificate according to the criteria in force: Kliko këtu .

• Copy of notarized high school diploma and state Matura certificate
• Copy of identity card

CIKLI BACHELOR

- nota mesatare e tre viteve të shkollës së mesme kombinuar me provimet e Maturës Shtetërore; (1 – 60 pikë)
- intervista me komisionin e pranimeve në TBU, ku peshën parësore do ta ketë shkalla e motivimit e studentit për të studiuar dhe për t’u aftësuar profesionalisht (1 – 40 pikë).

CIKLI MASTER PROFESIONAL

- nota mesatare e ciklit bachelor (1 – 60 pikë);
- intervista me komisionin e pranimeve në TBU, ku peshën parësore do ta ketë shkalla e motivimit e studentit për të studiuar dhe për t’u aftësuar profesionalisht (1 – 40 pikë).

CIKLI MASTER I SHKENCAVE

- nota mesatare minimale e ciklit bachelor (8);
- niveli i gjuhës së huaj për t’u pranuar (B1) nota mesatare e ciklit bachelor (1 – 40 pikë);
- shkalla e afërsisë së programit të studimit pararendës me programin e studimit për të cilin aplikon në TBU (1 – 30 pikë);
- intervista me komisionin e pranimeve në TBU, ku peshën parësore do ta ketë shkalla e motivimit e studentit për të studiuar dhe për t’u aftësuar profesionalisht (1 – 30 pikë).

Early Birds

Since quotas at TBU are limited, early reservations for Bachelor’s or master’s programs are open throughout the year. Official registrations are only made on the dates specified in the guidelines issued by MoESY, but all students who make early reservations for the Bachelor’s or Master’s cycle benefit from a reduction in the annual fee.

STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR BACHELOR PROGRAMS

Tirana Business University values excellence and strongly supports it. We have pledged that based on the results achieved during high school, we offer study scholarships to all high school graduates for the entire study cycle.

Part of the scholarship scheme are only those high school graduates who start university in the same year they finish high school. The scholarship applies only to the study fee, as every student pays the administrative fee every academic year.

Levels of scholarships:

  • Full 100% scholarship for the annual study fee is granted to students who have an average calculated GPA according to the current MoESY decree of 9.5+. These students only pay the administrative fee.
  • 75% scholarship for the annual study fee is granted to students who have an average calculated GPA according to the current MoESY decree of 9.0+. These students pay the administrative fee + 25% of the study fee.
  • 50% scholarship for the annual study fee is granted to students who have an average calculated GPA according to the current MoESY decree of 8.5+. These students pay the administrative fee + 50% of the study fee. Students who receive a scholarship upon entry have criteria for maintaining the scholarship throughout the study cycle:

Completion of the full number of credits for each academic year

Maintaining the GPA at the end of each year according to the scheme:

  • For 75-100% scholarships, a GPA of 9 must be maintained.
  • For 50% scholarships, a GPA of 8.5 must be maintained. Engagement in various activities (documented by the relevant structure at TBU).

If one of these conditions is not met, the student pays the full tuition fee in the following academic year.

Application procedure for a scholarship at TBU:

Since scholarship quotas are limited for each study program, the one who reserves earlier and within the approved quotas for each program benefits.

To guarantee the scholarship, a reservation must be made by paying a part of the administrative fee of 20,000 ALL.

The remaining part of the administrative fee is paid at the time of registration when signing the contract with the Finance Office.

Students who receive a 100% scholarship pay only 30,000 ALL, while other students pay the tuition fee in 2 installments.

Scholarship benefits:

The first 10 scholarship applicants, ranked first on the list according to the reservation date, receive the scholarship according to the approved scheme.

If in the list of 10 candidates one of the candidates does not receive it, then the list is moved, and the next candidate receives it.

If in the list of 10 candidates, all receive the scholarship, then the 11th candidate and onwards receive a -25% reduction from the scholarship earned based on the scheme, thus moving to a lower category.
