Master’s Program in Cybersecurity & Data Science Launched at Tirana Business University

Yesterday evening, Tirana Business University welcomed the students of the Professional Master’s Program in Cybersecurity & Data Science, a modern and interdisciplinary program, designed to prepare the professionals of the future in two of the most in-demand fields in today’s global job market, cybersecurity and data science.

This program brings together ambitious students and expert lecturers in technology, data analytics, and cybersecurity, offering a study experience that combines academic theory with real-world industry practice. In their welcoming remarks, TBU Administrator, Dr. Altin Sholla, Rector, Prof. Dr. Vasilika Kume, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Indrit Baholli, and Director of the Master’s Program in Cybersecurity & Data Science, Esmeralda Kadëna, PhD, emphasized the importance of this program in preparing new specialists, who will contribute to strengthening digital security and advancing artificial intelligence in Albania and beyond.

The event was also honored by the presence of the Deputy Director of the National Authority for Cybersecurity (AKSK), Mrs. Floreta Faber, who shared with the students the institutional perspective on current developments and challenges in the field of cybersecurity, highlighting the importance of cooperation between academia and state institutions.

Also present were lecturers and guest experts, who will be part of this program, sharing their vision for the further development of technology and digital protection in our country.
