NEXTGEN ACADEMY: TBU Students’ Practical Session at BALFIN IT
Following the launch of the second edition of TBU NEXTGEN Academy last week, TBU students continued yesterday with the next session at BALFIN IT offices, focusing on IT Operations.
Trainer Violi Fifo guided the students through the practical application of IT Operations knowledge and server infrastructure, giving them firsthand insight into real work processes in the technology sector.
During the session, students learned about the main components that make up a computer or server, including the processor (CPU), motherboard, RAM, hard drives (HDD, SSD, NVMe), and graphics cards, understanding the function of each and their importance in an IT system.
The academy aims to connect students’ theoretical knowledge with professional practice, preparing them for the first steps in building a career in IT.
