TBU student Mexhit Kastrati is announced as the winner of the first prize in the Business Ideas Competition by B4Students
Mexhiit Kastrati, a third-year Bachelor of Business Administration student with a Management profile at Tirana Business University, has been declared the winner of the first prize in the 5th edition of the Business Ideas Competition by B4Students, a program supported by the MANE Foundation. Mexhit’s winning project, “Unify”, was evaluated by the jury composed of BALFIN Group experts.
In the final of the competition, Mexhiti was selected as the best idea and stood out for his dedication, among 10 ideas from other students from different universities of the country. The first prize included a financial support of 5,000 euros, which value will be used to further develop the “Unify” project.
The “Unify” project aims to create an application that provides detailed information and reservation options for Albanian restaurants. This application is intended as a relief for tourists, but also for all local consumers who want an improved experience in choosing and booking restaurants.
On the occasion of the victory, Mexhiti was invited to the Wake Up show on Top Channel television, where he expressed his satisfaction and gratitude for the prize won and the journey that led him to success. He said that the idea for “Unify” was born from a concrete need that he had studied in the market, and that he is very happy that this idea was appreciated by the experts. Mexhiti also said that there is still work to be done to further develop his project and make it successful in the Albanian market and beyond.
This achievement of Mexhit shows the potential of TBU students and the support that the university offers to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship from the first years of study. Mexhiti has just started the first steps of realizing his idea, with an app which will be launched soon.
