
The first six-month cycle of Retail Academy at Tirana Business University
The first six-month cycle of Retail Academy at Tirana Business University has successfully concluded. Participants, specialists and managers from various retail companies, had the opportunity to take part in a comprehensive training program that combined academic expertise, field practice, and technological innovation.
During the program, they developed advanced skills in team and operations management in retail, gained knowledge in customer experience strategies and market analysis, acquired competencies in using digital technologies to optimize processes, gained practical experience preparing them for the challenges of the retail industry in Albania and the region, and enhanced leadership and performance management skills applicable immediately in the workplace.
Today, participants presented their final projects, developed based on critical thinking and direct contribution to their companies and the wider retail industry. The event included representatives from leading retail companies who engaged with participants and discussed the presented projects: Almarin Lico – CEO, JUMBO; Ani Xhetani – Country Manager, JUMBO; Elona Stroka – Head of HR, JUMBO; Evis Tartale – Deputy CEO Commercial, Marketing & Logistic, Neptun; Blendi Dashi – Executive Leader in Wholesale, Retail & Franchise Development, Neptun; Nertila Domi – HR Director, Neptun; and Taulant Mecaj – Head of Retail, One Albania.
The program was led by industry experts, combining theory and practice to provide a complete professional and developmental experience. By integrating practical training, innovative technologies, and business expertise, Retail Academy continues to contribute to the development of professionals who will lead the transformation of the retail industry in Albania and the region.
